Contract Duration: ASAP to Oct 31, 2024 – approx. 3 months *adjust start date

Possibility of extension

Number of Positions: 1

Schedule Hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday; standard 37.5 hrs/week

Reason: Additional Workload


Typical Day in Role:

  1. Develop, track, and manage project budget, project WBS, timelines, and scope.
  2. Manage project resources, developing, motivating, coaching, and advising team members.
  3. Partner closely with other members of functional teams (business line, marketing, design, and technology) to define business requirements.
  4. Define test plans and ensure that products are defect-free before User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  5. Facilitate the UAT process, developing rollout plans and procedures.
  6. Prepare and present cost-benefit analyses; ensure appropriate systems development and project management processes are being utilized.
  7. Make presentations to steering committees or project sponsors.
  8. Attend meetings regularly, informing stakeholders and meeting with the team.

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:

  1. 3-4+ years of proven IT Project Management experience using Agile methodologies
  2. 1-2 years’ + experience as a Program Manager – managing multiple IT initiatives
  3. 1+ years’ experience with project management tools and software: Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office Suite (please list which)

Nice-To-Have Skills:

  • Experience with developing UAT test plans
  • CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) certification
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM implementation and improvement.
  • CSM/Agile Certifications an asset

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills, and interpersonal skills.
  • People management and team-building skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment.
  • Proven ability to learn business processes quickly and work well with business partners at different levels within the organization
  • Strong ability to assess risk and apply management principles to technology applications/products and business functions.
  • Demonstrates creativity and adaptability when identifying solutions.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives.
  • Demonstrates proactivity and accountability

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree, technical field preferred
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) nice to have
  • CSM/Agile Certifications nice to have

Ideal candidate is a well-rounded program manager who has experience with various technologies, mid-tier, front-end and host; has strong soft skills to be able to work with multiple stakeholders, strong presentation skills
