Senior IT Program Manager to lead a series of Technology Integration projects in an enterprise

Our Client is a seeking a Senior IT Program Manager to lead a series of Technology Integration projects in an enterprise environment.
This is a hybrid role requiring 2-3 days a week on site in Calgary.
Must Haves:
- 10+ years as a Project or Program Manager delivering complex technology projects
- Wide range of IT project experience including: Infrastructure, COTS Platforms, Services, Software Development, etc.
- Experience leading strategic advisory to C-suite to build a divestment and integration plan for IT technology
- Experience with regulatory requirements related to technology resilience and cybersecurity, such as NIST, ISO, PCI, PIPEDA, SOC etc.
- 5+ years of M&A experience including enterprise level integration and/or divestment programs post-transaction
Nice to Have:
- Experience managing Programs or Projects within ServiceNow’s Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) and Project Portfolio Management (PPM) modules
- Post-secondary education within an Information Technology or Engineering Field.
- Project and/or Program level certification of any framework (i.e. PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2) is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technology & Program Advisory – Work bi-directionally with the IT Senior Leadership Teams (SLTs) and the Integration Management Office (IMO) by providing a technical vantage point to the IMO, and integration strategy context to the IT SLTs.
- Program Governance – Establish program governance for complex technology integration programs, requiring multiple group companies to work together to drive program success.
- Program Planning – Identify and plan key technology initiatives and activities required across multiple group entities to directly or indirectly enable changed business states. Work with non-IT Program and Project Managers to identify Portfolio level sequencing and critical paths.
- Project Planning – Establish delivery execution plans with PMs for key initiatives including work breakdown structures, cost models, while collaborating with technology vendors and multiple technology department leaders to construct resourcing plans.
- Execution Control – Coordinate and oversee technology programs from inception to completion through the creation and management of program level schedules, key milestones and critical path(s), RAID log entries, scope changes, cost forecasts & ledgers, that all draw from constituent Projects and respective Project Managers, regardless of Business Unit or Entity.
- Sequencing & Dependency Management – Identify and manage inter and intra dependencies of varying complexity at the program level, potentially informing and feeding into external portfolios.
- Communications – Responsible for all scheduled, proactive, and reactive communications for program sponsors, stakeholders, and executive leaders across all impacted and contributing group companies.
- Escalation Management – Act as the initial single escalation point for multifaceted program deliveries, proposing mitigation strategies and corrective action.
- Strategic Alignment – Liaise with Enterprise Architecture and Business Strategy teams across multiple group companies to ensure that key initiatives continue to adhere to technology strategies and enterprise priorities respectively.
