Director of Restaurant OperationsThe Restaurant Operations Directors (we have four of these positions across the organization and call them Ops Directors) work closely with Restaurant and Culinary Operations teams as well as all supporting departments such as Finance, Human Resources and Sales across BHC. In this hands-on, boots-on-the-ground role you will play a key role in supporting the venue management team with restaurant and retail operations, financial controls, people development, guest experience, and compliance within the venues.

What You'll Do:
- Directly oversee the General Managers of Park Distillery and Three Bears Brewery, while supporting General Managers in other BHC venues as needed.
- Oversee the company-wide retail and staff uniform program, ensuring BHC is benefitting from economies of-scale while staying on-trend.
- If it's happening in-venue, you are a part of it Planning, executing, elevating - you do it all.
- You take calculated risks, which hopefully deliver incredible results, but understand the importance of failing-fast, taking accountability, and learning from mistakes when things don't go as planned.
- Keep a pulse on internal and external trends and patterns. You develop best practices through your accountability points but also through those of your colleagues.
- You create weekly venue meetings and present each venue's profit and loss report (PnL). You also play a part in the creation of agendas as well as issue prioritization.
- Develop retail PnL in order to better engage restaurant teams in key metrics.
- You could be assigned to step in as an operational manager in the event of a vacancy at any BHC venue.
- You train and monitor the Service team to ensure high efficiency and success. While Restaurant Operations is your scope, you also support the culinary world by taking vision to reality #oneteam.
- Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/provincial/local laws, and ordinances.
- Manage all areas of the venue and make final decisions on matters of importance.
- While you're very focused on ensuring outstanding guest service, responding to complaints, taking appropriate action, and generating return guests - you also recognize the importance of employee experience and building a strong team culture.

- Prepare for and attend weekly, monthly, quarterly, and six-month planning meetings.
