Business group: Digital Marketing. We Support all Marketing initiatives for the bank.


The Manager, Digital Messaging Manager is responsible for the timely delivery of all marketing related communications within the Authenticated Channels (Mobile Banking, client Online, ABM) and the Email channel. Working alongside the Campaign Execution team, and supporting the Journey Managers, this role brings together the full set of assets (creative and content) necessary to launch digital campaigns. Contributes to the overall success of Marketing ensuring specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives are executed/delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted to comply with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.


Dimensions:

  1. Designing and implementing global customer-first marketing strategies and ensuring that creative and media agency resources are best aligned to support global and divisional needs.
  2. Ensure best practices and global standards are implemented and followed in the global digital technologies and email deployments and develop and track global benchmarks and goals to measure performance.

Typical Day in Role:

  1. Supports the Journey Managers with all activities related to digital campaigns, publishing, digital user experiences, and digital sales.
  2. Assists the Campaign Enablement team with investigating any pre-production or post-production errors or issues.
  3. Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant CASL, anti-spam and privacy regulations.
  4. Work with channel partners to find opportunities for collaboration and optimization, including retargeting, deep-linking, and optimization of campaigns for an omnichannel experience.
  5. Partner with Analytics, Data Science and Marketing Science to provide full-funnel channel measurement, including integrations of lower-funnel data sources like Adobe Analytics and Authenticated channel metrics.
  6. Make recommendations based on key learnings for channel optimizations, including email triggers, resolving customer pain points, and the integration of new vendors and omnichannel opportunities.
  7. Champions a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:

  1. 3+ years’ experience with digital marketing platforms such as Responsys, Adobe Campaign, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Experience Manager, and Adobe Journey Optimizer (1 or 2)
  2. 3+ years’ experience in leading and coaching a high-performing team
  3. 2+ years of experience with an email platform migration
  4. 1 year of experience with Adobe Analytics
  5. 2+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Sharepoint)

Nice-To-Have Skills:

French and/or Spanish language skills are preferred.

  2. Sound business and technical acumen, with demonstrated agility in learning and ability to quickly become comfortable with unfamiliar businesses areas or technologies.
  3. Proven ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
  4. The incumbent must be diplomatic, flexible, with a positive, mature attitude, and the ability to remain calm under pressure and to deliver under tight timelines.
  5. Must also be proactive and creative, with a strong, proven ability to plan and manage competing priorities, as well as ability to recognize and appropriately handle sensitive and confidential information.
  6. Excellent communication (presentation skills, verbal and written).
  7. Excellent stakeholder management and influencing/negotiation skills, capable of balancing multiple perspectives, effective at all levels.
  8. Enthusiastic team player who has an exceptionally keen eye for detail.
  9. Must have strong leadership, organizational, communication, and decision-making skills with a thorough understanding of how to communicate effectively across one-to-one marketing channels.
  10. Ability to analyze results to help make informed decisions and program enhancements over time.
  11. High level of professionalism, and ability to work calmly in difficult and high-pressure situations.
  12. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  13. Data-minded but with an eye for aesthetics.
  14. Comfortable prioritizing tasks and managing multiple strands of work with a willingness to take on additional projects as needed.

Best vs. Average Candidate:

The best candidate is someone with all the must-have skills and experience with Responsys and Adobe Journey Optimizer.
