Job Description

Mission
CIMA+ is looking for a Junior CPI Engineer to join its Operational and Digital Technologies team. The Operational and Digital Technologies team provides services for CIMA+'s various business sectors: transportation, building, infrastructure, and energy. You will be involved in the various steps required to carry out engineering mandates in different design fields: intelligent transportation systems, software, wired and wireless telecommunications, structured cabling, networking, IT infrastructure, video surveillance, access and intrusion control, asset management, automation, etc. The mentoring and resources made available to you will enable you to carry out the mandates entrusted to you in accordance with CIMA+'s own standards of excellence.

Primary Responsibilities
  1. Carry out site surveys to collect the information required for engineering purposes
  2. Actively participate in the design process and draw up plans and specifications in a variety of design fields
  3. Produce technical reports
  4. Solve technical problems requiring research and analysis
  5. Configure equipment, prepare test benches
  6. Supervise work on site, under the supervision of the senior supervisor
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, automated production engineering or equivalent
Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec, CEP or in the process of becoming one
Interest or experience in telecommunications, IT, automation or electrical engineering
Fluency in French and knowledge of English, both spoken and written
Ability to work in a team; ability to manage several projects simultaneously
Valid ASP construction card
