Based out of our Head Office in Saint John, New Brunswick, we are currently seeking an Employee Benefits Specialist to work as part of our Human Resources Shared Services (HRSS) team.
As an Employee Benefits Specialist, you provide excellence in benefits support to employees including education throughout the employee life cycle as well as responding to individual inquiries. You will identify and implement improvement opportunities to ensure we are continuously improving our service.
The Role:- Contribute to a positive experience for benefits education and support for our employees across the JDI organization
- Provide new enrollment and ongoing education on benefits, virtually and in-person
- Participate in improving effectiveness of education presentations and materials
- Support annual benefits enrollment activities
- Ensure timely and accurate transactions
- Work collaboratively with our JDI Human Resources Community
- Completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma with related experience in benefits or human resources administration preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment while delivering excellence in customer service
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with ability to effectively prioritize workload
- Eagerness to work in and contribute to a highly collaborative team
- Ability to facilitate and educate effectively in-person and virtually. Previous experience in adult education or facilitation would be an asset
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with respect to employees' personal and private information
- Ability to communicate in French is an asset
