As the Senior Technical Product Manager for our DTC ecommerce brand, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our product strategy and driving the development of innovative solutions that align with our customers' needs and business goals. You will lead cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences, manage the product lifecycle, and continuously refine our offerings. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a robust technical background, experience with Shopify, and familiarity with surrounding systems and integrations, along with a successful track record in product management within the ecommerce space.


Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Define and Execute Product Roadmap: Develop and implement the product roadmap in alignment with company objectives and customer insights, ensuring it supports our growth strategy.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, and marketing teams to develop and launch new features and enhancements across our technology ecosystem including platforms such as Shopify, CRM, ERP, and WMS.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.
  • User-Centric Requirements Gathering: Collect and prioritize product requirements based on user feedback, analytics, and business impact to inform product development.
  • Agile Development Facilitation: Lead agile development processes, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products that meet market demands.
  • Performance Measurement: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and guide future enhancements.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on product progress, timelines, and strategic changes.
  • Best Practices: Advocate for best practices in product development, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Experience, Education & Designations
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of product management experience, preferably in technical environments or ecommerce, with hands-on experience in Shopify and related systems.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of Shopify and experience with surrounding systems, such as inventory management solutions, customer relationship management (CRM) tools, payment processing platforms, and analytics systems.
  • Technical Understanding: Strong grasp of software development processes and methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
  • Product Management Tools: Proficiency with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Asana for project management and collaboration.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner, PMP) are preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Attributes
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product success.
  • Analytical Skills: Experience in data analytics and user experience design to inform product decisions.
  • Market Awareness: Familiarity with emerging technologies and e-commerce market trends.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts clearly.
