Food Runner Position

Black + Blue is looking for 5 Food Runners @ 130 King Street West, Toronto, Ontario.

Duties:

  1. Clear and clean tables and trays in eating establishments.
  2. Bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas and set tables.
  3. Deliver menu items from kitchen to tables.
  4. Remove dishes before and after courses.
  5. Perform other duties such as scraping and stacking dishes, carrying linen to and from laundry area, and running errands.
  6. Use equipment to prepare hot beverages such as coffee and tea specialties.
  7. Stock refrigerators.

Key Requirements:

  1. 1 year minimum experience in a similar environment.
  2. Ability to prioritize, organize, and follow through as necessary.
  3. A clear thinker, with the aptitude to remain calm and resolve problems using good judgment.
  4. Capacity to work well under pressure, meeting production schedules and timelines for service periods.
  5. Ability to communicate in English.

Compensation: $16.55-17.50/hour pending experience and skill. Permanent, full-time (minimum 30 hours/week). Extended health and dental after 6 months of employment. Please send your resume to hr@glowbalgroup.com.
