Operations/Maintenance Foreman
(One (1) Position)

Fibreco Export Inc.

Fibreco Export Inc., a leading multi-product bulk material export facility located on the North Shore waterfront is seeking one (1) individual to join our Operations / Maintenance team.

The successful candidates will be responsible for motivating and directing crews in the field, and be available to work on all three shifts (Graveyard shift, Day shift and Night Shift).

Reporting to Superintendents and Managers, the successful candidate(s) must have exceptional organization and planning skills and bring strong leadership, supervisory, multi-tasking, communications and people skills to these positions. Candidate(s) should possess a minimum of Grade 12 or an equivalent, supplemented with related technical/trades training and/or other appropriate qualifications. Candidates who possess a minimum of five (5) years' front line supervisory experience are preferred.

Candidate(s) must also have a proven ability to motivate and direct crews in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner while developing and maintaining effective relations with other supervisors, management and third parties. Computer literacy is a requirement of the job. Experience with materials handling equipment in an automated setting as well as a strong commitment to safety, training, and environmental protection wold be a definite asset.

Candidate(s) will undergo a thorough employment assessment including formalized testing, interviews, and reference checks. The successful applicants will also be required, as a condition of employment, to undergo an independent Company sponsored medical examination (if applicable). Successful applicants will also have to satisfactorily complete a 90-day probationary period.
