- Establishing evangelism through itineration services, street and jail ministry, and participating in area Christian rallies and concerts
- To carry out vision and mission for the program(s) in North Western Ontario in direct relationship with the Regional ministry.
- A thorough working knowledge of all program policies and procedures relative to assigned scope of duties and responsibilities specifically mentioned in the “Staff Manual", “Emergency Action Plan Manuals” and the "Student Manual".
- Assembles data and prepares regular and periodic reports pertaining to the work and overall effectiveness of the programs and operations.
- Develops plans to resolve difficult points of procedures; carries out directives and resolves problems independently.
- To work with Program Managers/Regional team to conduct fundraising events such as banquets, auctions, golf tournaments, and business luncheons in an area and enlist the financial support of charitable trusts, grants and business organizations.
- To represent the program(s) in an area through social, civic, pastoral, community and business organizations through membership and involvement. To network with other local ministry leaders within the local community; to conduct itineration, outreach services and other public speaking opportunities.
- To work with the local/regional marketing staff to promote the program(s) in an area through newsletter development, mailings, website updates and maintenance, the local media, and other means of advertising and promotion.
- To oversee and secure staff training and development for program(s).
- To work directly with the Program Managers/CPO/COO and the entire administration staff concerning corporate policy, payroll, accounts payable etc.
- Will ensure evangelism and missions opportunities for the staff and students of the area. This may include: short term mission assignments, school assemblies, prison and jail ministries, door to door evangelism, store front drug awareness teams, feeding programs, street outreach, service ministry etc.
- Establishment of the Emergency Action Plan for each location in state/area which shall include: 1) list of contacts for notification of emergency services as required, 2) evacuation plan of facility if required, 3) notification of designated staff personnel as required, and 4) a working knowledge of the automatic fire alarm system.
- Possess good standards of personal hygiene and a clean neat appearance including prescribed standards for hair and dress.
- Other related work as required.
- Considerable knowledge of the methods and practices of supervision and the ability to carry them out;
- Considerable knowledge of administrative procedures and the ability to apply those principles;
- Working knowledge of office equipment, facilities maintenance and repair and the ability to apply that knowledge;
- Working knowledge of administrative record keeping procedures and accounting principles and practices;
- Considerable knowledge of federal, provincial, city and Department of Human Resources laws and regulations as they pertain to ATC program/s;
- Considerable ability to work harmoniously with and to supervise the work of campus staff, clerical and support workers, student interns and volunteers;
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form;
- Emotional maturity, professional objectivity and the ability to act in a Christian manner;
- Completion of a (4 year) Bachelor Degree with major course work in biblical/ministry degree, public administration, business administration, liberal arts or related field; and
- (5) years of ministry leadership, business management, or human services experience, two years of which must have been in a supervisory capacity of multiple staff; or
- Any satisfactory equivalent combination of experience and training demonstrating the ability to effectively execute the duties and responsibilities of an Executive Director:
- Currently have or working towards ministerial credentials from an Evangelical organization;
- Possession of, or ability to obtain within 30 days, a valid driver’s license in Province of domicile.
