Reporting directly to the COO, your primary responsibility with be to lead, manage, and to be accountable for all aspects of the branch. You ensure branch growth and retention goals are achieved. You are responsible for big relationships with clients, carriers, employees, and within the leadership team. You will work with the IGN Executive Team in a leadership capacity, enforcing planned strategies, and communicating with stakeholders about important decisions made for and by the company. You will establish plans and strategies to achieve goals and provide local leadership while adhering to IGN Core Process, Core Mission, Vision, and Values. You are a problem solver with a profound ability to identify, discuss and solve all issues.Proactive ActionsApproach problem solving by diving deeper and considering broader implications; identify trends and win-win solutionsMove projects along with a sense of urgency, following all lead indicatorsMaintain confidentiality and always protect the companyUse a positive attitude that guides all interactions within and outside the organizationMeeting with the executive team to assess goals, direction, plans, strategies, and compliance.Overseeing budgets and staffOverseeing operations and ensuring goals are met through establishing strategies.Listening to reports of the company’s other leaders and executivesMonitoring the company’s financial needs and analyzing budgets and reportsCreating and revising plans to improve the branch’s profitability and growthSearching for and creating new strategic partnershipsEssential FunctionsA) SalesActively engaged in Selling activities to prospective clients and driving revenue into the branchParticipate in setting branch sales targetsBuild and retain branch Book of BusinessFocus on business development through relationship-buildingUtilize CMB’s sales process which differentiates us from other agenciesDevelop a strong knowledge of our resources and services and promote cross selling opportunitiesB) LeadershipProvide local leadership to branch team members; ensuring a culture that strives to deliver on CMB Core Mission, Vision and Values.Participate in all Leadership Meetings, Event and Community engagements as required by IGN Corporate ServicesParticipate in the recruitment and retention for all employment positionsProvide direction and mentorship to new and experienced Sales team membersParticipate in weekly renewal and L10 team meetingsC) Carrier RelationshipsMaintain and grow all carrier relationships at all levelsSolve all marketing issuesParticipate in all carrier reviews and meetingAnnual growth strategies with carriersD) Team SupportBe familiar with and follow IGN Core Process, Core Mission, Vision and ValuesFollow EOS: Traction methodologyTake all steps to avoid, and report to the COO, any potential Errors & Omissions or bad debt situationsAttend and participate in Traction EOS, staff meetings and other company functionsDemonstrate good leadership qualities with a positive attitude and ability to motivate othersKey Performance Indicators for Branch President1. Net Annual Growth, as indicated on VTO2. EBIDTA Performance, as indicated on VTOKnowledge and Experience:Licensed Level 2 Insurance Agent and professional insurance designation10+ years’ experience with demonstrated success leading sales in an insurance environment5+ years’ experience with commercial insurance experience is an assetExcellent communication, motivation, and negotiation skillsEntrepreneurial attitude; self-motivation and growth-oriented mindsetDesire to create and nurture relationships with clients and team members
