We are seeking skilled Pipefitters for an 8+ week contract role, offering competitive hourly rates and the potential for overtime. This position is ideal for individuals with at least a 3rd-year apprentice level or higher in pipefitting, with a preference for journeyman pipefitters. The role involves a variety of tasks including fitting, working on pressure vessels, building skids, installing process piping systems, reading and interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities
What you'll be doing:

Read and interpret P&ID (piping and instrumentation drawings) and GA’s (general assembly) drawings to assemble process piping systems.
Install supports, valves, piping, and control systems according to specifications.
Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required specifications. Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment according to specifications.
Perform installation, testing, and maintenance of piping systems. Work on the assembly and maintenance of pressure vessels.
Ensure all pressure vessels meet industry standards and safety regulations. Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) to assess the integrity of piping systems.
Participate in the construction of skids, ensuring precise alignment and secure assembly. Identify defects and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations. Utilize safety gear and equipment, including fall arrest systems. Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Operate cranes and forklifts as needed for material handling.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
Demonstrate adaptability, punctuality, and willingness to communicate effectively with fellow fitters to optimize job performance.
Receive and implement feedback constructively, striving for continuous improvement. Work diligently and efficiently to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications
What you bring:

Experience:
Minimum 3rd-year apprentice level in pipefitting; journeyman pipefitter preferred.
Proficient in pipefitting techniques and tools.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Health and Safety tickets, including:
Fall Arrest Certification
Confined Space Certification
Crane Operation Certification
Forklift Operation Certification
