Job Title: Pipefitter

Aecon Construction Solutions Inc. is seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team. As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing pipes and piping systems in various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and connect pipes and piping sections using soldering and welding equipment.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shape and size.
  • Remove and replace worn components and reactivate systems.
  • Test systems for leaks using testing equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in pipefitting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
  • Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work as a team player.
