Title: Change Management Specialist
Duration : 7 months, renewable
Work Environment: Hybrid, 3 days a week working in Mississauga office)
Hours: 37.5 Hours

Job Description:

The Manager – Change Management is responsible for the leadership and coordination of organizational change initiatives. This is a critical role in the team, supporting the business aspect of a new reporting system solution and acting as an intermediary between the business users and the technology team. The manager will interface with all levels of management and staff to ensure that changes are smoothly and effectively implemented. Change manager will lead change management activities in the right direction and work to ensure that changes meet the organization’s goals.
  • Creating change management strategies to achieve the organizational goals
  • Developing and implementing plans to manage change
  • Leading, coordinating, and managing change management activities
  • Coaching and mentoring staff through the change process
  • Monitoring and assessing the impact of change on employees
  • Providing expert advice on handling a change in an organization
  • Communicating change management plans to teammates and key stakeholders to ensure their understanding and buy-in
  • Developing training programs to help employees understand and adapt to change
  • Evaluating the success of change management initiatives
  • Develop deep understanding of existing work-flows for merchandizing teams and proposing best in class ways of working, considering the new reporting system
  • Support developing data and business use-case documentation for the new reporting system
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in management or tech disciplines – MBA preferred
  • At least 4-7 years of experience leading change management processes specially in new technology and data management system adoption
  • A data-savvy leader well versed in leading organizations on the data driven decision making journey and how new data systems can be adopted across organizations
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and mentoring skills
  • Ability to effectively deal with stakeholders
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills to solve complex issues
  • Ability to operate changes on your own and as part of a group
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Adeptness in using advanced tools and software, like project management software, to manage change processes
  • Expertise in influencing others to support change
  • Organizing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Ensuring that changes are accomplished on time and within budget
