Job Summary:
This position provides accurate and timely management of accounts receivable to ensure positive cash generation, credit control and proper collection of customer’s outstanding debt.
It has a vital role in controls over cash collection from Colgate customers and mainly interacts with customer service and sales departments within Company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor AR open items to ensure that outstanding invoices are paid on a timely basis.
- Communicate daily to Customer Development Organization and Company’s management any issues with customer’s payments to ensure that all possible steps are taken to collect past due AR.
- Review AR supporting documents to verify that all legal requirements are met.
- On a quarterly basis reconcile outstanding balances with Colgate customers in order to resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Prepare journals and supporting documentation for the month-end closing to ensure that Corporate reporting requirements are met.
- Lead and/or participate ROI analysis.
- Managing Customer Gross to Net Process to ensure that Corporate reporting requirements are met.
- Supports and participates in the GTN/AR monthly meetings with leadership team.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Economics/ Management
- Minimum 3 years of experience; preferably with a Multinational FMCG company or Big4.
- Experience in Project Management
- Business Intelligence and SAP Knowledge
