What Your Typical Day Will Look Like:

Account Services

  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for senior-level clients, managing overall relationships and ensuring that client needs are met.
  • Client Retention & Growth: Develop strategies to deepen client relationships, identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling services, and ensure ongoing business with key accounts.
  • Problem Resolution: Address any issues that arise between the client and the agency, working to resolve conflicts and maintain client satisfaction.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of account managers, executives, and coordinators, ensuring that they are motivated and clear on their objectives.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with creative, media, strategy, and production teams to ensure that the work being produced aligns with client expectations.
  • Strategic Oversight: Work with the strategy and creative teams to define campaign strategies that align with client objectives and brand goals.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that the deliverables meet both client expectations and agency standards before presentation or launch.
  • Budget Oversight: Ensure all accounts stay within budget and that financial forecasts are accurate. Address any discrepancies or concerns proactively.
  • Revenue Growth: Identify opportunities for revenue expansion within existing accounts by proposing new services or campaigns that drive client success.
  • Client Reporting: Prepare regular reports and presentations for clients, highlighting campaign performance, ROI, and any actionable insights.
  • Agency Reporting: Provide internal reports to senior management on the status of accounts, financial health, and any potential risks or opportunities.
  • Creative Briefing: Work with the creative team to ensure they have a clear understanding of the client's goals and vision for the campaign.
  • Creative Review: Review and approve creative concepts to ensure they meet both client expectations and brand guidelines.
  • Problem-Solving: Handle any client concerns, conflicts, or crises that may arise, providing solutions and ensuring that client relationships remain strong.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate any risks that could jeopardize the success of the campaign or client relationship.

New Business:

  • Pitching & Proposals: Play a key role in new business pitches, often leading the development of presentations and proposals to win new clients or retain existing ones.
  • Research: Identify and research potential clients and business opportunities.
  • Prospecting Strategy: Develop outreach strategies, including cold emails, calls, and networking.
  • Competitive Analysis: Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
  • Strategic Planning: Provide strategic insights to position the agency uniquely in the marketplace.
  • Proposal Writing & RFPs: Respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) from potential clients. Craft detailed proposals that outline the agency’s approach, creative ideas, timelines, and budgets.
  • Working With Cross Functional Teams: Work closely with creative, strategy, media, and production teams to develop new business materials. Coordinate resources, schedules, and deliverables across departments.

What You Bring:

  • 6 to 8 years’ experience in a client service role in an agency, including 1-3 years in a supervisory role
  • Post-secondary education in marketing/advertising an asset
  • Telco account services category experience an asset
  • Flexibility to work AKST hours – our clients are based in Anchorage, AK which is 4 hours behind. We try to work in the hours where our business days overlap (1pm EST – 5pm EST // 9am – 1pm AKST), however we will sometimes have calls or presentations outside of regular Eastern business hours
  • Potential travel up to Anchorage, AK
