We are seeking an experienced Strategy Director to join our core Leadership group, working across two renowned automotive brands. This role will sit alongside the VP of Product and VP of Technology, forming a pivotal team responsible for shaping the future vision of automotive and digital strategies.

In this dynamic role, the Strategy Director will wield considerable influence in charting the trajectory of these automotive brands, with a sharp focus on emerging trends like Electrification, Connectivity, Mobility, and beyond. While addressing immediate concerns remains vital, our primary thrust is towards forward-thinking strategies that envisage the automotive landscape 5-10 years hence.

Moreover, this individual will serve as the foremost advocate and ambassador for CI&T both internally and externally within the automotive industry. We seek someone who will champion our cause and serve as the authoritative voice in international forums, media engagements, and various platforms. This role demands a visionary leader who can articulate our perspectives with clarity and authority, fostering CI&T's prominence and thought leadership within the automotive domain.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Developing future-focused strategies for our automotive brands, with a keen emphasis on Electrification, Connectivity, Mobility, and other emerging trends.
  2. Creating thought leadership content such as whitepapers, articles, and presentations to articulate vision and insights into future trends.
  3. Confidently presenting strategies and insights to C-Level executives, providing robust backing and rationale for proposed strategies.
  4. Collaborating closely with the VP of Product and VP of Technology to ensure alignment and coherence across all strategic initiatives.
  5. Continuously monitoring industry trends, market dynamics, and technological advancements to inform strategic decision-making.
  6. Leading cross-functional teams in strategic planning exercises and workshops to develop actionable plans for implementation.

Qualifications and Skills:

  1. Proven experience in strategic leadership roles, preferably within the automotive or digital industry.
  2. Demonstrated ability to think strategically and envision future trends, particularly in areas such as Electrification, Connectivity, and Mobility.
  3. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and strategies to diverse audiences, including C-Level executives.
  4. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data to inform strategic decision-making.
  5. Experience in producing high-quality thought leadership content, such as whitepapers, articles, and presentations.
  6. Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  7. Creative problem-solving skills, with a track record of developing innovative solutions to complex challenges.
  8. Drive and initiative to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on delivering results.
