Director, Consulting Services (Data & AI). This role offers the opportunity to lead a talented

team while spearheading the development and implementation of AI-driven solutions for

our diverse range of clients.

Position Overview:

Reporting directly to the VP of Solutions Delivery, the Director, Consulting Services (Data &

AI) will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our business unit. This

position requires a strategic leader with hands-on project management experience who is

passionate about leveraging AI and analytics to solve complex business challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

Internal Operations

  • Provide strategic guidance on AI strategy and capability building, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and clients to identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Collaborate with the VP and other team members to develop and execute marketing strategies, targeting potential clients and driving business growth.
  • Partner with Business Development and Delivery Leaders to develop strategy to identify and drive new revenue opportunities.
  • Construct comprehensive budgets for the division that effectively reflect and align with the strategic direction of the business, encompassing forecasts for both revenues and expenses.
  • Monitor Profit & Loss statements to ensure financial health, including revenue growth and cost management. Identify variances and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Prepare and deliver Quarterly Business Reviews. Conduct internal and client governance meetings with key stakeholders.
  • Oversee cross-functional resources to successfully implement new client initiatives, program enhancements and service offerings.
  • Provide guidance on resource allocation and management, ensuring optimal utilization of internal capabilities in the current and future tense.
  • Mentor and motivate team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth as we step into an era of AI.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technological advancements and industry trends for the Data & AI division.
  • Accountable for the delivery of Data & AI solutions for our clients, ensuring alignment with their business objectives and delivering measurable value.

Client Services & Deliveries

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor while driving customer satisfaction and retention, and successfully expanding accounts over time.
  • A champion and a subject matter expert in Data and AI, ability to sell a vision and Data & AI strategy to decision-makers and influencers within client organizations.
  • Act as the Executive Level escalation point-of-contact to ensure appropriate handling and communication of client issues.
  • Design and deliver personalized AI strategy workshops and training sessions for clients, enabling them to maximize the value of data-driven insights and leverage our AI technologies effectively.
  • Provide guidance to clients on AI governance frameworks, best practices, and risk management strategies to ensure the successful adoption and implementation of Data/AI solutions.
  • Champion ethical wellness regarding the responsible use of Data/AI for considerations such as bias mitigation, fairness, transparency, and privacy protection, to foster trust and credibility with clients and their stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and assessments of Data/AI implementations for clients, identifying opportunities for optimization and scalability to drive continuous improvement and value realization.
  • Proactively monitor ongoing deliveries to bridge any gaps between existing projects, customer needs, and evolving industry trends/competitive offerings.
  • Recognize and oversee projects and programs deemed “at risk” that could jeopardize current or future opportunities to safeguard organizational goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or College diploma in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of delivering IT and transformation projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience developing project proposals, comprehensive project budgets, and extensive contributions throughout entire engagement lifecycle from sales to delivery.
  • At least 7 years of experience in an IT consulting environment, a recent focus on AI and/or analytics is considered to be a plus.
  • Strong understanding of Data & AI concepts and technologies, with the ability to translate technical capabilities into business value.
  • Experienced with Microsoft technology stack.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Expertise in management consulting or professional services offerings and go-to- market strategy.
  • Demonstrated experience in client engagement and business development, with a track record of expanding accounts and driving revenue growth.
  • Ability to develop and build strong productive working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
