Agilus is recruiting for a Sr Financial Analyst in the Technology Industry in Markham, Ontario.

As the Senior Financial Analyst, you will be interacting with the management, logistics, sales, and purchasing team.

A typical day:
  1. Forecasts and business plan preparation
  2. Create and analyze journal entries, financial reports, balance sheet reconciliations, and audit schedules
  3. Financial reports and reconciliations
  4. Monthly and quarterly closing activities and variance analysis
  5. Conformity with SOX policies and procedures
  6. Fixed Asset tracking and reconciliation
Successful candidates will have:
  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  2. 3-5 years experience working in a high volume manufacturing environment; automotive experience a plus.
  3. Experience with JD Edwards or knowledge of SAP
  4. Experience with US GAAP and SOX compliance
  5. Solid experience with complex financial models
  6. High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerBI
  7. CPA/CGA/CA is an asset
Total rewards:
  1. Permanent position
  2. Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm - Fully in office
  3. Salary base: $75 - $85 (depending on experience)
  4. Location: Markham, ON
  5. Full benefits package
