Are you passionate about making a tangible impact in your community? Roundabout’s Group Living Service is looking for a Project Manager to support our staff in preventing homelessness among young people aged 16-18 in South Yorkshire.

Roundabout’s Group Living service is continually expanding to meet the needs of the young people that Roundabout is helping in South Yorkshire.

Group Living offers multiple 24/7 staffed projects providing a safe place to live for Looked After young people who are typically aged 16-18. The young people in this service may have left care homes, foster care, suffered family breakdowns or may be from other countries, and require a strong support network to enable them to gain independence.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee all aspects of service delivery in a 24-hour provision and ensure the service meets contractual and statutory obligations.
  2. Ensure that high quality support and accommodation is provided for young people.
  3. Oversee all referrals, assessments, and support.
  4. Manage a dynamic team of 5 staff to support up to 7 young people through key work, life skills sessions, and a comprehensive activity programme.
  5. Offer a warm and homely environment that enables young people to flourish and develop the skills and confidence they will need to move onto independent living.
  6. Build and maintain excellent working relationships with contract managers and social care staff.
