Your future duties and responsibilities
The Senior Finance Consultant will lead a small team; overseeing day-to-day operations, month-end closure, and comprehensive financial reporting:- Collaborate closely with executive leadership, providing expert financial counsel to optimize business performance and facilitate strategic growth initiatives
- Spearhead the implementation of innovative solutions and procedural enhancements to enhance efficiency and efficacy
- Foster robust relationships with stakeholders across all organizational levels and business segments
- Review and validate daily, monthly, and quarterly financial reports generated by the team
- Act as a liaison with internal and external partners to swiftly resolve operational challenges
- Contribute to special projects aimed at driving organizational advancement
- Champion adherence to and refinement of internal control protocols pertinent to the role
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual with a high degree of enthusiasm and initiative, with profound financial and analytical acumen balanced by strong problem-solving skills:- 8+ years of substantive experience in accounting and/or finance roles
- Demonstrated proficiency in project accounting, financial management, and internal/external auditing
- Adept with month-end closure procedures, financial analysis, and reporting
- Prior experience in a leadership role, focused on fostering a collaborative team environment
- Competency with PC applications, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
- Outstanding organizational aptitude with a proven ability to prioritize and deliver high-quality work within deadlines
- Meticulous attention to detail combined with robust analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven capacity to produce superior deliverables under stringent time constraints
- Dedication to upholding the highest standards of customer service, integrity, and ethics
- Critical thinker, to delve into complex issues
- Self-driven with a keen sense of autonomy, initiative, and accountability
- Passion for cultivating and leading high-performance teams
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is mandatory
- CPA and/or MBA credentials are highly desirable
