We are looking for a skilled Data Quality Analyst excels at collecting, processing, analyzing, and interpreting data across several databases to support decision making, delivering customer requirements, and solving complex problems. To be successful in this role we are looking for a candidate that has a strong analytical mindset, is a self-starter, has persuasive and clear communication skills, can quickly understand complex concepts, and has an ability to identify needs, and suggest effective solutions. Specifically, this position will work with a variety of data sources and software tools and will need to specialize in data manipulation, data integration, business analysis, documentation, recommendations, and quality assurance. The Data Quality Analyst will also need to be comfortable navigating through ambiguity and crafting solutions without a defined guideline and excel at communicating insights in a concise, compelling, and accurate way through data visualization tools.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Collect, clean and organize data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy, consistency and integrity
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to identify data inconsistencies, patterns, trends, and correlations in large data sets
  • Collaborate with teams to implement automation and validation mechanisms to ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Support the identification and resolution of data anomalies, working closely with stakeholders to address issues promptly
  • Utilize a variety of tools and applications to analyze data and create datasets
  • Extract reliable data from various data sources that will identify key insights and opportunities/challenges that our clients should action
  • Design and implement clear and compelling dashboards, graphs, and reports with a focus on operational and client recommendations
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses to answer specific business questions and provide accurate and actionable recommendations
  • Leverage your expertise in PowerBI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools to create insightful data visualizationsAct as a trusted advisor to assigned business group/ client
  • Apply advanced Excel skills for analyzing, manipulating, and reporting data
  • Communicate effectively with teams and stakeholders to convey data quality issues and recommended solutions
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of data entry processes to enhance precision and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure smooth data ingestion and integration processes aligning with company standards.
  • Utilize programming languages such as: SQL, Java, Python, R, DAX (Power BI), VBA (Excel), etc., to enhance data quality processes
  • Accurately identify new and innovative data that can be used to improve existing models and processes
  • Responsible to ensure all data captured has been collected, validated, and uploaded via established processes and controls to ensure accuracy and completeness
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a field such as Statistics, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science or related discipline
  • 3+ years of data analytics experience; leading multiple projects of various scope/complexity from initiation to close out, with data quality as a focus
  • Exceptional data expertise in all aspects of data analysis, insights creation and visualization
  • Advanced skills in Excel; strong familiarity with MS PowerBI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools.
  • Experience with programming languages such as SAS, SPSS, SQL, Java, Python, R, DAX (Power BI), VBA (Excel), etc.
  • Strong flexibility to work with a variety of application development platforms (i.e. QuickBase)
  • Exceptional organizational skills, detail oriented, adaptive and a strong client focused mindset
  • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to manage a variety of tasks with tight timelines
  • Excellent quantitative, analytical, written, and oral communication skills
  • Comfortable navigating through ambiguity and crafting solutions without a defined guideline
  • Strong work ethic and highly developed problem-solving skills
  • Enjoy working under time constraints and ability to excel under pressure
