Wage: BaseJourneyperson Rate - Up to $42.00/hr.
C&A Group'sExpertise:
o Food and Beverage Process EquipmentDesign, Manufacturing, Installation, andMaintenance.
o Material Handling Systems(Conveyors) Design, Manufacturing, Installation, andMaintenance
o Agricultural Equipment Design and Manufacturing - Mobile& Processing Facilities
o Oil & GasEquipment Design and Manufacturing - Mobile Equipment
o Millwright and Industrial Mechanic Services – Maintenance andPlant Shutdowns
o General Machining & CNCMachining - R&D, Repair, Custom and ProductionParts/Systems
o Industrial Plumbing, Process Piping& Mechanical Systems

Metal Fabricators/Welders and Helpers arerequired to perform some or all the following duties:
o Comply with and take part in all C&A healthand safety program requirements.
o Complywith all Provincial Health and Safety Regulations.
o Comply with all Prime Contractor Health and Safetyrequirements, rules, and regulations.
oJourneypersons shall possess an Alberta Welding Certificate orInter-Provincial red seal.
o Apprentices shallpossess the education level (High School Diploma) as mandated byregulatory authorities.
o Pass CWB (CanadianWelding Bureau) welding tests.
o Read andinterpret blueprints and welding process specifications.
o Work to close tolerances.
o Use manual orsemi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal components usingprocesses such as:
➢ SMAW –Shielded metal arc welding
o Knowledge of metals, relevant product codes, regulations, andlaws.
o Knowledge of applied mathematics (i.e.,fractions, measuring and geometry).
o Operatemanual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
o Determine welding procedures to minimizedistortion.
o Operate trade-relatedequipment.
C&A Groupwill review each resume and contact potential candidates onlyfor a phone interview. Successful candidates willbe asked to attend an in-person interview with our hiring teamwhich consists of our Operations Manager, ShopOperations Manager and Foreman. These candidates will benotified of the results within five (5) businessdays.
