Product Owner

Within the IT sector, the Product Owner is part of an agile development team. The person is responsible for the product backlog and the evolution of solutions that affect customers (customer portal, supplier portal, corporate website). Its objective is to digitally equip customers and suppliers so that they can be autonomous in the management of their portfolio.
On a daily basis, the Product Owner creates and maintains the list of requirements (epics, stories) in order to prioritize his/her product backlog taking into account customer needs. The person is therefore responsible for translating the vision of their products into specific objectives allowing the development team to deploy the features according to the stated priorities.
Responsibilities :- Develop an excellent understanding of internal customer needs;
- Order functionality development priorities by ensuring alignment with business sectors;
- Define the vision, directions, functionalities and visual presentation of the product;
- Develop acceptance criteria against which the development team will evaluate its success;
- Collaborate closely with the scrum master and the production team in holding the various events (daily scrum, refinement, planning, review, retro);
- Act as an expert user of the product;
- Ensure the documentation, maintenance and communication of the product roadmap;
- Manage and optimize the budget for its products. Develop forecasts.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role in an agile framework, and experience as a Product Owner;
- Experience in product management associated with software development or equivalent experience (digital project management, software solutions);
- Demonstrated experience with agile Scrum methodology;
- Excellent knowledge of the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence);
- Knowledge of web platforms (.net with CSS an asset), customer relationship management software.
- PSM, PSPO or SAFe certification is a strong asset;
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study (Management, IT, Engineering);
- Strong understanding of business analysis and product management.
