iFIDS is pleased to accounce that Wabush Airport (YWK) has deployed iFIDS as its FIDS solution, with fully automated flight data. Selected as part of the airport terminal building renovation project, seven new iFIDS displays contribute to the functionality and efficiency of the airport, as well as improving travelers’ experience.

A key transportation link in Labrador and eastern Canada. Wabush Airport serves Wabush, Labrador City and surrounding communities with flights to Montréal, Québec, Sept-Îles, Schefferville, Goose Bay, and connecting destinations. Wabush Airport handles scheduled passenger flights from Air Canada, PAL Airlines, PASCAN Aviation and Air Inuit, in addition to many charter airlines.

Sioux Lookout Airport (YXL) has chosen iFIDS as its flight information display solution, including fully automated flight data as well as a series of dedicated advertising displays, in its ongoing pursuit to enhance the airport’s role in the community as an economic catalyst while achieving a high level of operational excellence.

The Sioux Lookout Airport is licensed as a public aerodrome and caters to the ever increasing demand of scheduled flights by Bearskin Airlines, Wasaya Airways, Perimeter Air and charter flights by Skycare Air Ambulance, Bamaji Air, Superior Airways, Northern Skies and Thunder Air. The airport also serves as a base forOrnge,Nishnawbe-Aski Police Service (NAPS), private aircraft owners and several charters both from the United States and within Canada. The Sioux Lookout Airport is easily accessible with connecting flights to carriers such as Air Canada, WestJet, United Airlines, and Northwest Airlines, to name a few.

iFIDS is pleased to announce that the Comox Valley Airport Commission (YQQ) – also known as Vancouver Island Airport – has chosen iFIDS as its FIDS solution, with fully automated flight data.

YQQ serves passengers from central and northern Vancouver Island with its daily direct flights to/from Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver onboard Air Canada, Pacific Coastal Airlines, and WestJet. It is located in the Comox Valley, which is connected by two major provincial highways, making it a natural hub for travelers seeking to enter or exit Vancouver Island.

Greater Sudbury Airport (YSB) has selected iFIDS as its flight information and wayfinding display system for the airport’s nine screens across arrivals, departures, and gates. In addition, data is being provided back the airport’s website, providing travelers with a complete insight into flight status and helping YSB pursue its ongoing mission of improving the experience of its travelers.

Prince George Airport has deployed four new gate screens to its display and wayfinding system, providing its customers with more timely information and improving their overall travel experience.

These four screens are an expansion of Price George Airport’s existing iFIDS implementation of arrival, departure, and advertising screens.

Prince George Airport (YXS) is an airport that serves Prince George, British Columbia, Canada, and the surrounding area. Accommodating nearly 450,000 travelers each year, YXS hosts the region’s and the nation’s leading airlines, and has welcomed aircraft as large as Boeing 747s and Antonov -124.
