The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be engaged in strategic candidate sourcing and selection initiatives to attract talent necessary to achieve company goals.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Representing the organization to candidates at recruiting events, via social media and in discussions with applicants throughout the selection process.
  • Ensuring compliance with documentation of the staffing and selection process.
  • Researching, identifying and managing a variety of proactive and passive recruiting resources including Internet, campus placement offices, printed advertising, trade associations, search firms and advertising initiatives for both exempt openings.
  • Provides timely reporting to leadership on progress of staffing activities.
  • Planning and executing recruitment strategies to insure a continuing supply of qualified professional, technical and management applicants.
  • Maintains positive relationships with hiring managers by assessing staffing request needs, providing timely feedback, and educating them in the proper process, tools and techniques needed to hire qualified candidates.
  • Screen and administer selection assessments to candidates to identify potential for success in opportunities.
  • Assisting the Senior Manager, Talent Management in special projects, start-ups, surveys, and site visits.
Job Requirements:
  • Strong team player.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer literate, strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
  • Must be bilingual French/English required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to develop relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing demands.
  • Ability to read, write and interpret information.
  • Ability to follow policies and procedures.
  • Familiarity with Web-based applicant tracking systems; Taleo experience preferred.
Qualification & Experience:
  • In lieu of degree, high school diploma or GED and 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred and 4 years of relevant experience.
