Overview: As a Senior Graphic Designer on the team, you’ll have an exciting opportunity to shape the future of the Company. In this role, you’ll help our enterprise clients meet their business goals by elevating their visual communication toolkits through tailored design services in Company with an emphasis on presentation design. Your goal as Senior Graphic Designer will be to support Company’s client design requests. In collaboration with the Creative Lead, you will work with clients to provide high-quality designs and look for opportunities to elevate their designs using Company. You will help evaluate the needs of the client in collaboration with the Creative Lead, work within project timelines, manage time effectively, and deliver high-quality work that exceeds client expectations. You will be integral to the client's success in Company. We're looking for the right person who takes pride in their work and is a team player with a get it done attitude while paying attention to details.

Key Responsibilities

What do designers do at Curb Signs Inc.?

As a part of in-house design team, we're here for (literally) whatever the client want/need. We are responsible for making the company and its agencies look as slick, professional, on-trend and as amazing as possible.

Projects can (and have been) everything upto and including:

  • Infographics
  • Logos & Branding
  • Social Media Creative
  • Adobe SUITE

And the Senior Designer role specifically?

  • Oversee all design projects and production in Print Department, from conception to delivery.
  • Maintain workflow of multiple projects and liaise with project and design teams and to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of graphic design, styles, typography and layout techniques.
  • Lead the design process for new products from concept to execution, ensuring that each product reflects our brand identity and resonates with our target audience.
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to sell our products online, leveraging platforms such as e-commerce websites, social media, and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand our client base, cultivating relationships with potential clients and presenting our products in a compelling manner.
  • Operate various equipment/machines (e.g. Large format printer, CNC tables, etc.)
  • Generate ideas to portray concepts and advertise products/services.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, developments and tools and enhance design strategies.
  • Review and verify artwork files for accuracy, consistency and adherence to brand and regulatory guidelines.
  • Manage inventory levels for the Print Department, and order items (once approved) as needed.
  • Providing strategic and creative advice on how a client can make the most of the Company.
  • Provide sales support by quoting offset jobs.
  • Creating bespoke designs, predominantly presentations.
  • Think strategically when working on projects and making design suggestions.
  • Manage company website and social media.
  • Work independently as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Desired Skills & Experience

What do I need to rock this job?

Software & Hardware:

  • Be fluent with usual suspects (Adobe Suite)
  • Comfortable with both Mac & PCs
  • Assisting Laminating, Plotting, Fabricating and CNC

Skills & Demeanour:

  • At least 4 - 5 years of experience as a designer.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin.
  • Proven work experience as a Senior Designer, Graphic Designer or similar role in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • A Bachelor's / University degree in Design, Visual Arts or a relevant field
  • Time management skills to work on multiple projects at once and with various deadlines.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing completed design projects.
  • Expert-level abilities with image editing software, like Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Strong aesthetic skills with the ability to combine various colours, fonts and layouts.
  • Close knowledge of user experience and content strategy principles.
  • Attention to detail to ensure that all client or team specifications are met and free of any errors.
  • Patience to send creative designs through multiple approval processes and often work with several different people to get a job done
  • Creative mindset to be able to bring a design to life with simple instructions
  • Strong organizational skills to keep up with various client needs or team projects
  • Technical skills to work with popular graphic design programs like the Adobe suite
  • Flexibility to be able to switch between projects or pivot quickly should the requirements of the project change
