Finance Analyst - Permanent Full-TimeIf you would like to work with a team of professionals who are committed to enriching the lives of patients we invite you to join Runnymede Healthcare Centre as a Finance Analyst.Position summary: The Finance Analyst will be responsible for supporting the payroll processes/accounts receivable/accounts payable/ and general accounting transactions in the Finance Department. The role is great for someone who wants to learn and contribute to accounting and reporting functions of Runnymede Healthcare Centre.Responsibilities include:Reconciliations of assigned General Ledger accounts.Responsible for accuracy of the Accounts Receivable sub-ledger including strict monitoring of all aged accounts with follow-up/collection on overdue accounts and completion of write offs when necessary.Support the payroll process/taxes payable reconciliation.Get involved in the Payroll activity/support – processing timecards, and all payroll activities.Preparing accounting and financial analysis in Excel.Contributes to several projects including EFT, and other accounting and billing process changes.Provide AP coverage when required – process approved invoices into Meditech, payments for invoices through EFT and cheques.Provide AR coverage when required – patient billing, payments received in Meditech, print statements, patient charges calculations and etc.Month end J/E: accruals, allocation, prepaid.Bank account reconciliations.Capital projects cost reconciliation/activity.Balance sheets accounts reconciliations on monthly/yearly basis.Assist with the interim/yearly audit.Review/manage capital projects reporting.Process matched and received invoices to POs for payment, investigate any pissing POs, item or amount discrepancies: GL account coding errors.Responsible for accuracy of the Accounts Receivable sub-ledger including strict monitoring of all aged accounts with follow-up/collection on overdue accounts and completion of write offs when necessary.Other responsibilities based on the departmental needs.The successful candidate will have the following qualifications/experience:CPA designationMinimum two (2) years of work experience, preferably in a hospital settingAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and HRISKnowledge of non-profit financial accounting principles and reporting requirementsStrong analytical, planning, and organizational skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent team playerPlease be advised that in order to be eligible for employment at Runnymede Healthcare Centre, all new hires must have received the full series of a COVID-19 vaccine or combination of COVID-19 vaccines approved by Health Canada (e.g., two doses of a two-dose vaccine series, or one dose of a single-dose vaccine series); AND have received the final dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days prior to the hired employee’s first date of employment.
