Who are you?

You are an experienced System Implementation and Administration Manager with 8 years post-graduate experience looking for the next step or are currently undertaking a similar role in a similar environment.

The System Implementation Manager serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the discovery, implementation, and onboarding process.Action typically include (but are not limited to):

  • conducting kickoff meetings,
  • gather business processes and resulting requirements
  • providing expert guidance on best practices for implementing and configuring the products to meet the clients unique needs
  • carrying out system project management activities (scope focusing, well planned & reliable communications, continuous evaluation points of risk and opportunity, and providing advice and assistance with their change management)
  • work with the vendor to customize system settings, workflows, and integrations to align with client requirements while using out-of-the-box functionality to minimize customizations whenever possible
  • work with the vendor to develop and deliver comprehensive training sessions to educate clients and other key stakeholders on the features and functionalities of their system. Create and maintain implementation documentation, user guides, and knowledge base articles to support clients throughout the onboarding process ensuring the customer’s complete adoption of their product.
  • Identify and address implementation challenges, working closely with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly. Escalate complex problems to appropriate client and vendor departments and provide timely updates to clients, ensuring their concerns are addressed effectively.
  • Actively contributes to the enhancement of implementation processes and methodologies.

The System Administrator serves as the controlling user of the platform throughout the systems life, focusing on maintaining operations.

Action typically include (but are not limited to):

  • Minor product configuration: change system settings, workflows, and integrations when requirements
  • Manage issue tracking and support the users with resolving issues promptly
  • Respond to system and business process questions
  • Manage user access and security groups
  • Performs proactive system monitoring to ensure the solution is fit-for-purpose
  • Contributes to various control, PMIS, and IM documents
  • Onboards users once the platform is in operation
    • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, information technology, computer science, or a related field is often required.
    • Security clearance (Reliability) or ability to gain this.
    • At least five years of experience in software implementation, technical consultancy, or similar roles.
    • Experience in project management or implementation management, requiring 5+ years in the field.
    • At least one year of experience in a supervisory role.
    • Proficiency in technical product and system installation, with the ability to create technical implementation strategies and provide staff-level guidance.
    • Proven ability in diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues.
    • Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
