MISSION The Project Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining and analyzing project schedules using Primavera P6. The scheduler ensures projects are planned and tracked against baselines, milestones and dependencies, providing visibility into schedule performance and risks. The scheduler supports the PMO by enabling schedule-driven accountability. RESPONSIBILITIES • Create, update and maintain detailed project schedules in accordance with OSI standards and industry best practices. • Establish and maintain project baselines in accordance with OSI standards. • Track schedule progress against baselines, identifying variances, slippages and critical path impacts. • Provide schedule performance metrics (SPI, float and critical path analysis) to project managers and leadership. • Work with Project Managers to evaluate project schedule progress and performance and identify developing problem areas. • Prepare project periodic and routine schedule reports to senior leadership. • Support project managers in maintaining timely and effective change management processes, procedures and systems. • Support stakeholders with structured knowledge on standards, templates and best practices for project scheduling and Primavera P6. KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS • Education: Engineering Technologist Diploma or related field or Degree in Engineering; considerable direct experience in the role may be acceptable in lieu of formal education. • Experience: 3-5 years in a project-based environment using Primavera P6. • Skills: Proficient user of Primavera P6 or equivalent, ability to learn and understand the wider Project Management principles; excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills with internal and external contacts • Detail-oriented; organization skills in management of work and presentation of information • Other: Must be eligible to meet requirements for security clearance as applicable Why work for OSI?
