We are hiring I.T Field Technicians who will provide onsite hardware and application support at the voting locations. This includes replacing/delivering, installing hardware and software to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. This position requires candidates with excellent communication skills, a high level of accuracy when reporting, delivering, installing, testing, updating, and removal of equipment, and confidence in maintaining hardware and software to assure peak technology performance.

Must-Have:

  1. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  2. College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science and/or information technologies or 1-year equivalent work experience.
  3. Familiar with personal computers/printers/wireless connectivity devices.
  4. Android 8+ or Apple iOS14+ including a data package to receive emails and instant messaging.
  5. Ability to work extended hours as required.
  6. Ability to lift a 20 lbs. box from the floor to a tabletop surface.
  7. Eligible to work in Canada.
  8. No criminal record.

Nice to Have:

  1. CompTIA A+ certifications.
  2. Technical knowledge of hardware and Windows 7, Windows 10 operating systems.
  3. Working technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems, and standards.
  4. Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides.
  5. Able to develop and interpret technical documentation for training and end-user procedures.
  6. Possession and use of an owned car for travel between locations.
