In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Identify and integrate new datasets to enhance product capabilities
  • Analyze data for trends and patterns with clear objectives
  • Utilize cutting-edge machine learning techniques to develop and optimize algorithms
  • Serve as a communication bridge between technical and non-technical teams
  • Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to refine algorithms and enhance performance
  • Prototype and operationalize personalization solutions
  • Establish best practices for algorithm development and deployment
  • Identify new personalization opportunities and collaborate with stakeholders
  • Implement analytical models in production

This role requires you to have:

  • Bachelors in Computer Science, Mathematics or Statistics
  • 7+ years of analytical experience
  • 5+ years of experience developing machine learning models and performing data analysis with Python
  • 5+ years writing production-level, scalable code (e.g. Python)
  • 5+ years of experience developing algorithms for deployment to production systems
  • In-depth understanding of modern machine learning (e.g. deep learning methods)
  • Understanding of statistical concepts (e.g., hypothesis testing, regression analysis)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

You would benefit from having:

  • Experience deploying and maintaining pipelines (AWS, Docker, Airflow)
  • Engineering big-data solutions using technologies like Databricks, S3, and Spark
  • Understanding of natural language processing techniques
  • Familiarity with data exploration and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker)
