Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Cucumber, Gherkin and Java.• Implement BDD practices to enhance collaboration and communication between development and testing teams.• Create and execute automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of software products.• Testing Kafka Streams Applications responsible for processing real-time events and constructing data streaming applications. Ensure the correct functionality of Kafka Streams applications by performing thorough automation testing.• Conduct API testing to validate system integrations and data exchanges.• Perform Kafka consumer invocation testing to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of data streaming processes.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test requirements, design test plans, and develop comprehensive test strategies.• Analyze test results, identify issues, and work with development teams to resolve defects.• Continuously improve test processes and methodologies to enhance test coverage and efficiency.• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, test data, test scenarios, and other testing related documentation based on the requirements and technical specifications.• Interpret and implement quality assurance standards.• Ensure data integrity standards.• Plan, develop, execute, maintain and improve Automated Test Frameworks and Automated Test Scripts for Web and Database applications.• Identify areas for improvement in the quality system• Create and maintain libraries and object repositories• Participate in application planning meetings.• Perform reviews, walkthroughs, or inspections.• Work closely with the Development, BA and Business teams to gather and understand use cases for automationKey Skills: • Strong understanding of web, mobile, API, desktop, packaged and database test automation technologies• Ongoing knowledge of automated testing industry best practices and trends• Experience with test automation and test management tools like SpiraTest• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in an unstructured, fast-paced environment• Strong Oral and Written skills• Hands on experience on implementing BDD using Gherkin/Cucumber and java• Hands on experience with Selenium, robot framework, Cucumber and other industry famous automation frameworks• ExperienceSQL• Demonstrated experience in defining and implementing several test automation solutions leveraging one or more of the following: Selenium webdriver, Cucumber, Appium, RestAssured, SoapUI, Swagger, Postman, Protractor, Jmeter, LoadRunner, Grinder, Gatling• Experience with tools like Browserstack, Saucelabs SAAS testing platforms• Advanced experience reading/writing one or more languages: Python, Java,• Expertise with data driven, keyword driven, script-less, hybrid, and behavior driven automation frameworks• Expertise in creating UI test frameworks using Page Object Model.• Hands-on test automation experience in an Agile Development environment• Hands-on experience specifying, establishing and managing test environments and test data for load and functional test automation
