This role is responsible for the general accounting functions for the engineering division.

• Support AP activities including reconciliations, auditing transactions, preparing purchase orders, cash receipts, payments and reporting.
• Performs Accounts Receivable activities including invoicing, and reconciliations.
• Performs General Ledger activities including journal entries, banking, foreign exchange, government reporting, fixed assets, HST filing, weekly cash flow projections, balancing inter-company accounts, month-end and year-end closing of books.
• Prepares management reports for internal audits, transfer pricing and SR&ED.
• Assists with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Audit and processes expense reports in Concur.
• Prepares manual cheques and wire transfers.
• Maintains cheque stock and chart of accounts.

• Post-secondary diploma in Accounting or Business.
• Minimum of five years related experience.
• Related manufacturing/automotive experience.
• Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes).
• Experience working with SAP preferred.
