About us

STROMAG provides the North American market with customized feeder bowl solutions and service – including vibratory feeder bowls, horizontal in-line feeders, hoppers, incline conveyors, blow feed systems, conventional or robotic pick and place machines and clip insertion machines.

Mechanical Designer/Project Manager

Duties:

- Concepts and designs of custom automated equipment and machinery

- Coordinates the development of the project concept and leads the project from concept to detailed contract documents

- Creating for shop issue, 3D models and 2D drawings of components and assemblies

- Assembling in shop/job build prints/BOMs

- Maintaining job files (electronic and hard copy)

- Creating and compiling equipment manuals (electronic and hard copy)

- Assisting in the completion of customer orders from A to Z

- Communicating and assisting shop personnel

- Full contact, interaction and communication with customer's on all projects

- Willing and able to travel to customer's facilities within Canada & USA, with valid documentation

Qualifications:

- Post Secondary education from Mechanical Engineering Technology or a similar program

- MUST have a Minimum of 3 years experience LEADING industrial projects

- Thorough understanding of 3D modelling methodology and 2D drawing generation from models

- Heavy Industrial mechanical design experience

- 3+ years experience with both AutoCad and SolidWorks

- Wage will be based on experience
