TalentWorld is recruiting a Enterprise Business Architect in Toronto, Ontario for one of our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze government information relevant to business architecture; consult on specific architecture elements.
  • Conduct focus group workshops to gather requirements and insights.
  • Develop and maintain enterprise business capabilities aligned with corporate strategy.
  • Contribute to business strategy and plans based on architecture insights.
  • Design and revise business architecture artifacts within the Enterprise Information Architecture (EIA) Federated Framework.
  • Model business processes at enterprise and/or core business levels.
  • Design capability models and propose architectural solutions for complex business tasks.
  • Collaborate with senior management on business transformation plans.
  • Ensure integrity and compliance of business architecture models.
  • Develop and maintain architectural governance and controls.
  • Facilitate communication and consensus-building among stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Architect or in a similar role, modeling business at enterprise and/or core business levels.
  • Designation or certification in Enterprise Architecture (e.g., TOGAF) is highly desirable.
  • Extensive experience in developing and maintaining business architecture artifacts within a large organization.
  • Strong understanding of architecture frameworks such as Zachman Framework.
  • Knowledge and experience with business functional modeling, service lifecycle modeling, and other related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and completing business architectures in complex, multi-project or multi-client environments.
  • Experience in the public sector or similar complex organizations is mandatory.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical and functional specifications effectively.

Employment Details

  • Salary: $80.00HR - $90.00HR
  • Benefits: 37.5 hours weekly, Contract, Full-time, Hybrid
  • Schedule: 8:00AM to 4:30PM, Monday to Friday
  • Other: 9 months contract, possibility of extension
