Essential Duties:

  • Identify, monitor and assess customer purchasing trends using analytics/BI and/or CRM software and identify areas of sales opportunity and/or weakness in our customer engagement activities.
  • Find data gaps and propose solutions via the CRM to collect relevant customer information to help the sales team identify more beneficial routes to market growth strategies.
  • Analyze competitive industry data through a breakdown of product, pricing, market, quality, availability, and share trend findings on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Generate monthly customer keyline [POS] reports.
  • Calculate all customer rebate calculations, generate the relevant paperwork and present them to the National Sales Manager and finance for approval.
  • Calculate all other sales and/or rebate reports [GPC etc] and update the appropriate records.
  • Provide weekly/monthly CRM activity reports to the National Sales Manager.
  • Be Niterra Canada’s Power BI champion – work alongside the National Sales Manager to ensure all ‘go to market’ insights are extracted and examined to improve sales performance.
  • Develop and maintain customized internal reporting tools to effectively communicate sales trends to the National Sales Manager and sales team.
  • Develop, maintain & update business intelligence tools, databases, dashboards, systems, and data collection methods.
  • Maintain library of all documents, templates, contracts, rebates and other knowledge assets.
  • Support Niterra Canada & North America associates in the development, implementation and maintenance of Niterra Forecasting tools.
  • Acts as the liaison between Key Account Specialists [KAS] and the Category Managers with regard to new and existing customer pricing and/or Net pricing requests.
  • Working with the KAS, ensures that customers have the relevant and up to date pricing on their individual systems.
  • Provide training where necessary to sales associates for existing reports, dashboards and other tools (including Power BI, CRM/Sales-I, Forecasting Tools, and SAP Cloud).
  • Function as a consultant to the sales team, identifying opportunities to deliver customer growth through fact-based recommendations. In addition, assess trends to identify key customer opportunities for growth.
  • Attend national events and/or trade shows to assist the sales team.
  • Working with the Key Account Specialists to gather SOA, customer & market insights - Update and compile the data for the monthly PAMA report for GHQ and complete the report prior to presenting to NSM.
  • Generate standardized and ad hoc reports using both internal and external data sources. Follow up with ad hoc queries to support, validate or better illustrate trends in the business (upon request).
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures which include IATF, ISO, ISMS, TISAX, QMS, J-Sox and safety related policies.

Other Duties:

  • Perform all other job-related tasks as assigned.

Academic Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, analytical Science or related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in business analytics and/or statistical analysis.
  • Knowledge/experience of the automotive aftermarket industry is preferred.
  • Excellent administrative skills specifically running reports, developing, and processing financial related documents.
  • High level of attention to detail to help ensure the integrity/accuracy of the data and rebate calculations.
  • Ability to analyze data and programs with experience in managing large datasets.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office such as Excel/Access, etc and in adapting/analyzing CRM software systems to extract customer insights.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Customer/sales centric and ability to work well in a cross functional sales environment.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and takes initiative.
  • Understanding/experience of retailer POS portals.
  • Knowledge of SAP is an asset.

  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
