The Workday Integration Analyst will play a critical role in the: planning, design and execution of HR, FIN, and IT related projects supporting the organization’s goals, objectives and future roadmap. You will partner closely with project teams and business leaders to translate business requirements, implement system enhancements, drive process improvements and support upgrades. The ideal candidate for the Workday Integration position has always “bridged the gap” between business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a Workday subject matter expert (SME) to ensure the flow of data and reporting are timely, accurate, optimized, and consistent across company-related systems.
  • Develop and support Integrations involving HCM, specifically for HCM Core, Benefits, Payroll, and Time & Absence.
  • Develop and support integrations involving FIN, specifically for Finance Core, Accounting (FDM), Customer & Supplier Accounts, Banking & Settlements, Expenses, Procurement, Projects and Fixed Assets.
  • Integrations will be developed utilizing tools such as Workday Studio, WD Connectors, API, EIB, and BIRT.
  • Provide day-to-day support with business stream leads and communicate and assist external 3rd party vendors.
  • Partner with other internal IT teams to develop and implement new or enhanced technology (e.g., interfaces, outsourced vendor arrangements, system integration) and manage service and support.
  • Prepares test plans/scripts; executes test scripts; oversees and supports user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Supports upgrades of Workday Feature Bi-Annual Releases assessing impact of new technology and coordinate roll-out with project teams and business leaders. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolves system and data integrity issues.
  • Conducts workflow analysis. 
  • Makes “best practice” recommendations to ensure optimal use of Workday based on knowledge of company processes and technology.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Functional and technical knowledge of Workday HCM, FIN, Administrative modules.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a support team member or administrator for Workday FIN module.
  • Experience in integrating data from multiple systems using methods such as API, REST, SOAP, XML.
  • Experience using middleware platforms such as SnapLogic, AWS, Workday Prism, SQL, and Postgres to integrate ERP systems.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Additional Skills

  • 3+ years' experience as an administrator in the Workday HCN, FIN, and Administrator modules.
  • 3+ years' experience with Workday integrations (EIB, Connector, Studio, BIRT, API, REST, SOAP, XML, XSLT and XPath).
  • Workday certified in one or more domains.
  • Understanding of Workday Business Processes and Custom Validations.
  • Experience presenting information to groups of employees and responding to questions from employees, managers, clients and vendors.
