Intermediate Contaminated Sites Specialist

Millennium EMS Solutions Ltd. (MEMS) is growing, and we are hiring two Intermediate Contaminated Sites Specialists with a minimum of 5 years of experience preferably in a consulting environment. Preference will be given to those candidates with strong writing and interpersonal skills, organizational abilities and technical competency. The successful candidate must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic and be able to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Building and updating succinct, clear, and appropriate conceptual site models for contaminated sites
  • Conducting site specific risk assessment projects for complex sites
  • Taking on a supporting role in risk assessment projects for complex sites
  • Working with senior risk assessment staff to develop appropriate risk-based site management strategies
  • Mentoring and career development of risk assessment project staff
  • Providing technical support as needed to multiple Millennium disciplines including hydrogeology, site assessment, and remediation
  • Identify competency gaps within the discipline and assist in training that is required to address
  • Develop technical resources and utilize training to improve internal aspects of the discipline
  • Ability to gain a professional designation with APEGA, AIA
