Production Revenue Accountant

View all jobs Production Revenue Accountant - Intermediate Calgary, AB We are excited to be working with a well-established oil and gas company as they continue to expand their Production Accounting team. With a recent promotion, we are now assisting in finding a new intermediate level Production Revenue Accountant to join their team. The following are some of the highlights of the background requirements for this position:
- Full cycle production accounting desk including master data set up, reporting monthly volumes, analysis of allocations, facility charges, royalties and financial entries.
- Financial entries into Qbyte FM.
- Review of non-crown royalty contracts and working with owner queries.
- Review and entry of 3 rd party fees
This position will be part of a team of five and it is very important that you have the right analytical skillset to be successful. At the same time be a strong team oriented individual who will work well with others in ensuring monthly deadlines are met.
Qualifications and background required for success in this role:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in a production and revenue reporting capacity.
- Educational background should include a Business Degree or a CAPPA designation.
- Familiarity with reviewing and analyzing non-crown contracts.
- Familiarity with Metrix, Qbyte FM, Optix and Production Manager.
- Proficient with Excel including pivot tables and lookup formulas.
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Reliable and organized with the ability to manage a busy desk.
