  • Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain the quality and consistency of all dishes.
  • Develop and execute menu items, incorporating seasonal ingredients and new culinary trends.
  • Train, mentor, and support kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed, ensuring cost-effective and efficient use of resources.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef and management team to plan and execute special events and promotions.
  • Handle any kitchen-related issues promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine and cooking techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred.
  • Passion for food, creativity, and a keen eye for detail.
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment and safety protocols
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
