- Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain the quality and consistency of all dishes.
- Develop and execute menu items, incorporating seasonal ingredients and new culinary trends.
- Train, mentor, and support kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed, ensuring cost-effective and efficient use of resources.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and management team to plan and execute special events and promotions.
- Handle any kitchen-related issues promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine and cooking techniques.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a dynamic environment.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred.
- Passion for food, creativity, and a keen eye for detail.
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and safety protocols
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
