Job Purpose/Mandate

The Network Engineer specialized in Cisco Wireless and LoRaWAN will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and secure wireless networks. This position is integral to ensuring the reliability and performance of our IT/OT network infrastructure, particularly in strongly regulated environments.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and manage Cisco Wireless and LoRaWAN networks.

- Provide emergency and critical support, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid resolution of network issues.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IoT setups with existing network infrastructure.

- Utilize Cisco tooling (DNAC, ISE, Stealth Watch) to monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance.

- Ensure compliance with ITIL processes and other regulatory requirements.

- Conduct regular network performance assessments and implement necessary upgrades.

- Develop and maintain detailed network documentation.

Skills Required:

- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Cisco Wireless technologies and LoRaWAN.

- Proficiency in Cisco tooling such as DNAC, ISE, Stealth Watch.

- Deep understanding of ITIL processes and their application in network management.

- Solid background in IT/OT network engineering with a focus on regulated environments.

- Expertise in IoT setup and integration.

Previous Professional Experience:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT/OT network engineering.

- At least 2 years of field experience providing emergency/critical support.

- Proven track record in working within strongly regulated environments.

Educational Prerequisites:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Relevant Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNP Wireless, CCIE Wireless) are highly desirable.
