Description du Poste :

Nous sommes a la recherche d'un(e) conseiller(ere) junior en surveillance des transactions proactif(ve) et minutieux(se) pour rejoindre notre equipe dynamique chez Gestion de risques VSR Canada Inc. Dans ce role, vous jouerez un role crucial en soutenant les efforts de conformite de nos clients en surveillant les transactions financieres a la recherche d'activites suspectes et en garantissant le respect des normes reglementaires. Le poste est situe a Brossard, au Quebec, et n'est ouvert qu'aux candidats de la region de Montreal.

Responsabilites :

  • Effectuer des activites de surveillance des transactions afin de detecter et d'enqueter sur les transactions suspectes, y compris, mais sans s'y limiter, le blanchiment d'argent et le financement du terrorisme.
  • Examiner et analyser les alertes de transaction generees par les systemes de surveillance, et signaler les risques potentiels ou les activites suspectes aux conseillers principaux pour une enquete plus approfondie.
  • Effectuer des controles de vigilance a l'egard de la clientele (CVC) et de vigilance renforcee a l'egard de la clientele (CVC renforcee) pour verifier l'identite des clients et evaluer les niveaux de risque.
  • Se tenir au courant des exigences reglementaires, des tendances du secteur et des meilleures pratiques en matiere de conformite LBC/CFT afin de garantir des procedures de surveillance efficaces.
  • Collaborer avec les equipes internes et les clients pour formuler des recommandations visant a ameliorer les processus de surveillance des transactions et a identifier les zones de risque potentielles.
  • Preparer et tenir a jour des documents et des rapports precis lies aux activites de surveillance des transactions et aux enquetes.

Exigences :

  • Baccalaureat.
  • Solide comprehension des reglementations LBC/CFT, des directives et des normes du secteur.
  • Une experience prealable en surveillance des transactions, en conformite ou en gestion des risques est preferable, mais non obligatoire pour les candidats debutants.
  • Esprit analytique avec une excellente attention aux details et des aptitudes a la resolution de problemes.
  • Capacite a travailler de facon autonome et en collaboration dans un environnement dynamique.
  • Maitrise des applications MS Office et connaissance des logiciels de LBC/CFT est un atout.
  • Excellentes competences en communication, tant verbale qu'ecrite, en francais et en anglais.
  • La connaissance d'autres langues est un atout.
  • La connaissance des modes de paiement tels que les VIREMENTS, les TEF, le P2P, les cartes prepayees ou les paiements en cryptomonnaie est un atout.

Job Description:


We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Transaction Monitoring Advisor to join our dynamic team at Gestion de risques VSR Canada Inc. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our clients' compliance efforts by monitoring financial transactions for suspicious activities and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. The position is located in Brossard, Quebec, and open to candidates from the Montreal area only.


Responsibilities:


  • Conduct transaction monitoring activities to detect and investigate suspicious transactions, including but not limited to money laundering and terrorist financing activities.
  • Review and analyze transaction alerts generated by monitoring systems, and escalate potential risks or suspicious activities to senior advisors for further investigation.
  • Perform customer due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD) checks to verify customer identities and assess risk levels.
  • Stay updated with regulatory requirements, industry trends, and best practices in AML/CTF compliance to ensure effective monitoring procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to provide recommendations for improving transaction monitoring processes and identifying potential areas of risk.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and reports related to transaction monitoring activities and investigations.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Strong understanding of AML/CTF regulations, guidelines, and industry standards.
  • Prior experience in transaction monitoring, compliance, or risk management roles is preferred but not mandatory for junior-level candidates.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office applications and familiarity with AML/CTF software tools is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and French.
  • Knowledge of other languages is an asset.
  • Knowledge of payment methods such as WIREs, EFTs, P2P, prepaid cards, or cryptocurrency payments is an asset.
