As an IT Platform Administrator - Monitoring, you contribute by providing expert support and assistance to users of information systems related to IT applications such as installation, configuration, communication of best practices, problem resolution, service request management, and management of IT or technological incidents. You participate in the sustainability of the technology park, particularly through server administration.

As an IT Platform Administrator - Monitoring, you contribute by providing expert support and assistance to users of information systems related to IT applications such as installation, configuration, communication of best practices, problem resolution, service request management, and management of IT or technological incidents. You participate in the sustainability of the technology park, particularly through server administration.

Your role involves analyzing and participating in diagnosing issues or situations related to your field. You provide advice in accordance with the rules of your discipline and in a consulting mode, participate in the development of appropriate recommendations and implementation plans. You develop tools, methods, and work processes and contribute to the development of skills related to your field of activity. The nature of the files and projects requires comprehensive knowledge in your field.

You bring ideas. You contribute to problem-solving through analysis and your overall knowledge of the business domain. You leverage your ability to manage complexity. You are called upon to interact with stakeholders working in complementary fields of activity.

You play a professional support role in your field with your unit, dedicated clientele, and partners.

Main Responsibilities

  • Respond to various ad hoc requests from IT partner clients (support-advice, management of alert thresholds or dashboards, development of alert rules, training on shared monitoring platforms, etc.);
  • Ensure the management of cross-cutting monitoring tools;
  • Ensure performance and stability;
  • Ensure obsolescence or sustainability management;
  • Participate in POV/POC and positioning;
  • Implement new tools, retire obsolete tools;
  • Ensure the preservation and updating of data and documentation used for the installation and configuration of monitoring software;
  • Identify and communicate improvement opportunities. Initiate the implementation of these changes.

Requirements And Qualifications

Profile sought

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
  • A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in the field of technological infrastructures and monitoring in a multi-platform environment
  • Experience in managing monitoring and support in a large server park (2000 servers and more.)
  • Experience in the administration of monitoring products such as:
  • Microsoft SCOM
  • OpenText OBM and Sitescope (Microfocus/HP)
  • Splunk
  • Dynatrace (OneAgent and Synthetics)
  • Experience in ITOM Health administration (ServiceNow)
  • Experience in Windows Server or Unix (Linux) administration
  • Experience in modeling existing technical solutions (infrastructure, middleware, applications)
  • Experience in scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python, and/or Perl)

Specific knowledge

  • Knowledge of event management best practices (ITIL 4).

À titre d'administrateur(trice)de plateforme - Surveillance TI, vous contribuez en offrant le soutien d’expertise et l’assistance aux utilisateurs des systèmes informatiques en lien avec les applications TI telles que l’installation, la configuration, la communication des bonnes pratiques d’utilisation, la résolution de problèmes, la gestion des demandes de service et la gestion des incidents informatiques ou technologiques. Vous participez à la pérennité du parc technologique par notamment l’administration des serveurs.

Votre rôle consiste à analyser et à participer au diagnostic des problématiques ou des situations liées à votre domaine. Vous fournissez des avis conformément aux règles de votre discipline et en mode - conseil, vous participez à l’élaboration de recommandations et de plans de mise en œuvre appropriés. Vous développez des outils, méthodes et processus de travail et vous contribuez au développement des compétences liées votre domaine d’activité. La nature des dossiers et des projets exige des connaissances globales dans votre domaine.

Vous apportez des idées. Vous contribuez à la résolution de problèmes par des analyses et votre connaissance globale du domaine d’affaires. Vous mettez à profit votre aptitude à gérer la complexité. Vous êtes appelé à interagir avec des parties prenantes œuvrant dans des champs d’activités complémentaires.

Vous exercez un rôle de soutien professionnel dans votre domaine auprès de votre unité, de la clientèle dédiée et des partenaires.

RESPONSABILITÉS PRINCIPALES

  • Répondre aux différentes demandes ponctuelles des clients partenaires TI (support-conseil, gestion des seuils d’alerte ou de tableaux de bord, développement de règles d’alerte, formation sur les plateformes de surveillance partagées, etc.) ;
  • Assurer la gestion des outils de surveillance transversaux ;
  • Assurer la performance et la stabilité ;
  • Assurer la gestion de désuétude ou pérennité ;
  • Participer aux POV/POC et positionnement ;
  • Mettre en place de nouveaux outils retrait des outils désuets ;
  • Voir à la conservation et la mise à jour des données et de la documentation utilisées pour l'installation et la configuration des logiciels de surveillance ;
  • Identifier et communiquer les opportunités d'amélioration. Initier la mise en place de ces changements.

Exigences Et Qualifications Requises

Profil recherché

  • Baccalauréat dans une discipline appropriée ;
  • Un minimum de deux (2) ans d’expérience pertinente dans le domaine des infrastructures technologiques et de la surveillance dans un environnement multiplateforme
  • Expérience de gestion de la surveillance et support dans un parc important de serveurs (2000 serveurs et plus.)
  • Expérience dans l'administration de produits de surveillance tels que
  • Microsoft SCOM
  • OpenText OBM et Sitescope (Microfocus/HP)
  • Splunk;
  • Dynatrace (OneAgent et Synthetics)
  • Expérience dans l'administration de ITOM Health (ServiceNow)
