Nestled on the scenic Saskatoon riverfront, this attraction boasts a stunning new amphitheater. With a loyal audience and strong brand recognition, Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan is poised for growth and is seeking an Executive Director to lead strategic operations and enhance community outreach efforts.

OBJECTIVE and SCOPE:

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director will co-lead the organization's strategic vision, goals, and objectives alongside the Artistic Director. You will be directly responsible for the organization's overall management and the success of internal operations, including strategic planning and team and financial leadership.

REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Past experience working in a strategic leadership role showcasing your business acumen.
  2. Firm understanding of funding sources and experience writing and reporting grant applications.
  3. Ability to create and manage operational budgets along with the ability to understand financial statements.
  4. Strong experience in board governance and understanding of working within the not-for-profit sector.
  5. Positive team leader who will mentor, motivate, and coach their team.
Competencies and Skills:
  1. Superior leadership skills with the ability to build, cultivate, and nurture stakeholder relationships.
  2. Strong communication skills: written, verbal, and presentation.
  3. Takes initiatives and is highly organized, with the ability to prioritize competing priorities.
  4. Creative, ability to adapt and pivot with new opportunities.
