Job Summary: The Labeling Associate position is responsible for various support functions in the Labeling as directed by SinaLite support staff and the Supervisor.

Working directly with SinaLite Support Staff identifying and communicating status of jobs in various stages of production.

Identifying, quality controlling and processing orders for shipment for various couriers.

Communicating with SinaLite support staff and other staff to facilitate traffic flow of priority orders or rush shipments.

Identifying and reporting quality, packaging or shipping errors.

Working with the Apparel and other departments as required.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Labeling Operations

Perform labeling and packing functions as noted on work order/job tickets.

Responsible for and assisting with job preparations/productions of garment products noted on the docket.

Ensure the correct products are labeled correctly.

Perform quality checks at required intervals throughout shift (i.e., correct product, correct label, label application)

Put boxes into appropriate areas ready for shipment to be picked up by various couriers.

Operate assigned equipment/machine in accordance with operating procedures.

Maintain knowledge of safety requirements of job and equipment.

Other duties as assigned in the Apparel and Large Format Department.

Qualifications:

High school diploma/GED with experience or vocational/technical certification.

Previous warehouse and/or shipping knowledge/experience is an asset.

Strong experience in using a computer.

Strong interpersonal skills e.g. working well with others, communication, positive attitude.

Good written, verbal and mathematical skills.

Good attention to detail and hand eye coordination.

Able to work independently and as a member of the team.

Reliable attendance, punctuality and attention to workstation.

Meet or exceed minimum test results as specified by the hiring manager.

Working Conditions:

Standing for prolonged periods of time - up to 8 hours or more per day.

Frequent lifting of objects up to 50 lbs.

Frequent pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, and twisting is required.

Work area may have fluorescent lighting and air conditioning.

Noise level is usually moderate to loud.

Exposure to ink and chemical fumes, and airborne particles such as paper dust and drying powder.

Appearance at all times must represent the company image.

Fast-paced environment subject to numerous schedule and priority changes and short notice activity.

Additional hours may be required due to operational requirements.
