Vice President of Operations Position:dahl Valve is seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead and enhance all aspects of its operational functions. Reporting to the President and as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, the Vice President will be responsible for steering the company's operations with a focus on safety, quality, and customer service. The role encompasses the management of safety protocols, production processes, supply chain, quality assurance, and engineering. As the business expands, an important task will be to strategize and lead the expansion of production operations through capital projects. The Vice President will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence, ensuring the company's long-term success and profitability in a competitive market.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive leadership experience (~100 people) in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the metals or CNC machining sectors. They should possess strong communication skills and the ability to build constructive relationships with ownership, customers, suppliers, and employees. The candidate must be a proponent of using analytics and KPIs for decision-making and have a proven track record of driving operational efficiency and excellence. Experience in a family-owned business environment, along with a commitment to health and safety regulations, will be essential. The candidate should also demonstrate integrity, a proactive attitude, and the capability to implement change and promote innovative solutions.
