Our team is looking for a full-time Senior Instrumentation & Controls Engineer or Technologist who is driven to deliver their best work every day and are committed to working collaboratively to achieve shared goals. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Field instrumentation and control system design and control strategy development
- Prepare technical documentation required for the execution of projects, including but not limited to: standard specifications, design criteria, P&IDs, schematics, loop drawings, instrument datasheets, wiring diagrams, layout drawings, installation details, control narratives, network diagrams, cable schedule, instrument list, equipment list
- Development and management of instrumentation and control system procurement packages
- Review shop drawings to ensure conformity with engineering designs
- Manage scope, schedule, and budgets for control and automation work on projects
- Assist in field engineering and commissioning on site as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Registered with or eligible for registration with APEGA as a P.Eng, P.L. Eng, or P. Tech. (Eng)
- 10+ years working specifically within the I&C/Automation engineering discipline
- Some project engineering experience is considered an asset
- Previous experience with both the FEED and detailed design processes is considered an asset
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team (office is very team based, so collaboration is key)
- Be available for field work as needed (10-20%)
