In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Independently identify, measure, analyze, and monitor Market Risk measures, IPV/VA, and Stress Testing, ensuring accuracy and thorough commentary.
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes while supporting day-to-day operations effectively.
  • Implement new or revised Risk policy changes in alignment with CMRM procedures and standards.
  • Ensure operational and regulatory risks are properly measured, aggregated, and analyzed in accordance with established market risk policies.
  • Identify innovative opportunities and support related initiatives.
  • Enhance analytical capabilities and business knowledge while addressing current and emerging risks proactively.
  • Collaborate with business partners to achieve TD's objectives.
  • Gain a deep understanding of the pricing and risk management of financial derivatives and the issues related to financial modeling.
  • Engage in knowledge distribution and cross-training activities to maintain comprehensive business understanding.
  • Assist in recruitment efforts to identify high-caliber candidates for the team.

This role requires you to have:

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in relevant fields such as Risk Management, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science.
  • Knowledge of financial instruments, regulations, and market risk metrics.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications.
  • Strong quantitative, analytic, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Programming skills in VBA, Python, SQL.
