Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize the logistics in direct support of the Production team
  • Monitor the purchased and manufactured shortages and resolve them with the Internal Logistics and Suppliers team
  • Ensure visibility to the production team on the resolution of shortages
  • Comply with the operational processes, employee performance management, and development processes while developing a mobilizing and winning work climate
  • Define Logistics KPIs & governance, ensure proper training and development of team members
  • Build and develop the Logistics team based on operational needs
  • Optimize internal and external processes
  • Promote and act as a leader for Operational Excellence implementation
  • Ensure compliance with the Manufacturing Strategy and the achievement of the highest Logistics standards
How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience
  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Administration, Operations Management, or three (3) years of relevant experience in Logistics
  • You are fully bilingual (English and French) written and spoken
  • You have experience in Logistics
  • You are knowledgeable with SAP and/or BAAN, which would be an asset
  • You possess good leadership in managing major initiatives involving working with internal and external partners in a context of new product industrialization
  • You have the capacity to work with concepts and translate them into solid execution plans, along with good project management skills
  • You are recognized for your leadership, communication, and coaching skills, and your ability to mobilize and engage a team
  • You have experience in the Aerospace Industry, and understanding of the aircraft and its components would be an asset
  • You are proficient with the Microsoft Suite
